Total polyphenol content (TPC)
It is expressed in mg gallic acid equivalents (GAE) per ml or g of sample. The higher the value, the greater the concentration of bioactive compounds.
IC50 value
It is expressed in μl/ml of reaction or mg/ml of reaction. It represents the sample concentration required to scavenge 50% of the corresponding free radical. The lower the value, the higher the antioxidant activity.
